[microsound]recurrent TABOO question

for some unknown [to me] reason there are some questions that never get 
any feedback [answered] on this list, and not just here but also off 
list!
anything technical, politics, rhetoric, academic, etc... related gets a 
pretty good participation. but when someone asks about booking 
procedures or agents or even venues [just take a look at the twiki 
page: PlaceS...] what's up with that ? i wish i knew some to start 
adding!
i'm pretty sure that there is people here on this list that like me are 
novices in the booking field and that will like to understand.

i just added one of my question email:

[...] i was curious about how you manage the booking process 
[performance and sound installation].
i have never done that and i'll love to understand a little bit on how 
to do it, so that i can start doing it for my self.
do you have a list of bookers? or venues?...
i will be very thankful for any input regarding booking.
