Re: [microsound] flash tracker - binaural mic



I agree.  If you look through the digi-key catalog,
just look for panasonic electret microphones.  Look
for a wide frequency response and good signal to
noise.

You can jack these directly into a MD recorder with a
little soldering.  They are pretty tiny, so you'll
have to have a steady hand.  There are a number of
websites that show how to do it.  With a simple bias
circuit you can run it into a laptop too.
It all depends on what your time is worth...
