Really my argument is that acoustic and electronic instruments are
both OK. The importance of a musician / composition / performance has,
in my mind, very little to do with what instrument they're using. All
instruments reflect the ideas of the person playing them. If that
person has good ideas, those ideas will come through in that person's
music. (Whether or not the audience is capable of hearing said ideas
is another issue.)
