Yah, anyone tried this?

"Cheap" here being a relative term. For what one needs is:

- Max/MSP = $$
- Pinky = cheap
- 8 channel DAC = $$$
- two phono pre-amps = $

So probably about the same if not more than Final Scratch, given that FS
includes the hardware, but is much less limited in terms of application and
reconfiguration.
