Re: [microsound] new autechre

i checked this out the day it was released on warps site.. i reversed
the flash/php interaction so i have a method of d/l'ing tracks as mp3s
to get around the stupid software imposed listening limit.... its not
the same quality as the bought releases however...

this album is abrasive and more static -- much different then what
i've heard before. i couldn't listen to this on headphones for
extended periods of time, but i think to hear some of these tracks
played live on a good system would be enjoyable.. much better then
buying the cd.. i'd be damn sure to bring ear plugs tho.. i can see
people getting tinnitus from this album..

i'm not a big autechre fan, but i enjoyed their 'nothing' album. i
still do not know all the techniques used on that album..

signal routable midi controlled multi effects units come to mind for
that stuff tho..
