er hi again,

yeah i read the essay and whilst i can identify with
some of the feeling re big name products, ooops dj's, 
doin' it for their bank accounts it somehow doesnt
feel right to go and terrorise those poeple by nicking
their records and/or other shit. or that its funny to
laugh/gloat about it. i mean, yeah, lets go for a
jihad on jeremy healy i'm sure that'll sort everything
out........ there are more positive ways to use ones
frustration than in phantasising about destroying what
you might envy in the other. 

a good book about djing is 'last night a dj saved my
life' rather obviously more positively biased, but
shows a depth of insight into what dj'ing can be in a
really creative way, really like sampling but a little
bit different. i really liked parts of this book.
