From my experience, I was told it was a warranty job which meant a
recall for a crappy Logic board part in the G3 Ibooks even though it
was second hand and warranty prob out of date lol. It took 2 weeks to
get back :| I presume they had to send away to get one to the people
who fixed mine, I doubt they'd have one spare. You might be in luck if
its a newish Ibook, i'd be sweet talking and paying for prioirty
service good luck :\
