I saw a performance of Patrick Power and Stephen Vitiello.  There was a video loop and the music.  Both were at their laptops.  You end up watching the video not the people at the laptops.  
I ahve been to too many performances where you are forced to watch some guy sitting at his iBook or whatever for and hour or so.  You are watching someone watching the music at the computer.  I just like theater and the use of it with performances.
