Re: [microsound] escalators



it's a very nice piece.   good work.   my take is that
it is about negated motion.  there seems to be all
kinds of moving happening without ever really getting
anywhere.   perhaps evidenced by the hang time in the
loop, another example of motion taking place, only to
get back to where it started from.   if this is
related to muzak, i would like to know more about it. 
 i had a muzuak album with "she's got betty davis
eyes", on it. i think some "eye of the tiger", too.  
talk about not getting anywhere. 

i really enjoyed the film though.
