You mean to do field recordings of escalators and then do music from
that? I'm all for it! Reminds me a bit of "Singing Bridges"

You would think it would be that simple. But no, the same thing keeps
happening. Why is that?
Now that I am in DC, I am noticing the hum and noise the escalators
make when the day goes on and the weather changes. Is anyone up for
