Re: [microsound] non-microsound material ahead: Tannhauser Overture

i get first dibs on the roy batty sample:)

that said, hip hop is not exactly microsound, but it can be. why not a microsound tannhauser project - that can be micro-hip hop or micro-whatever?

p.s. checked out a NI KORE seminar the other day... it's cool - looks great in the dark:) but i'm still not convinced it's 'all that' as they say... maybe 2.0...

Archive.org? It seems that the creative commons license is a good idea since since different individuals could add their own raps and so forth. I could add a link and description from chilowethia's tone index. I like those stuffy churchy sounding midi files , some sound inspiring looped.

I just tried the overture with electric guitar samples and it's really quite nice.

 ( I don't think there's a copyright on the midi files...am I right?)
