Re: [microsound] to rob arelar (theories)
Yes but he is correct in regards to people spouting there opinions and
theories that they have read and studied to be TRUE, infallible ,
theories created by some omnipotent beings that are incapable of error
or BIAS in their scrutiny. Offer up a differing opinion and you get a
response treating you as a retard. "How dare you not agree with the
ideology i have aligned myself with, you sir, must be a poorly read,
inept sod"
Please...

No, but to take some of that rants here on the micro-sound list in the
last few weeks as true would be folley as well. Again where is the
thought process in NOT QUESTIONING?
Whatever, most ideologies are flawed no matter how well thought out,
because humans are inherently greedy, easily corruptable. We are
genetically coded to compete. We do not know how to share. How to
live in balance with our enviroment/surroundings. Blah blah blah.
There could some constructive discussion on the matter here on the list
but i have not seen any as of yet, since it always quickly devolves
into a insult/flamefest/pissing match. Lack of civility and maturity
is laughable. I would also like to add that as a member of the list i
would expect one of the founding members to be a little more civil in
his discourse over topic matter. Especially when he(KIMCASCONE) holds
his fellow microsounders to such high expectations in regards to
behaviour/protocol while participating in the list. Setting an example
anyone?
The short fuse syndrom effects all of us i guess when someone question
our ideologies (How so very threatening!)
