Re: [microsound] Re: livecoding
I meant that if you wanna get paid and if you wanna have good playing
conditions, you have to set up something that people understands.
Otherwise, only three or four geeks will attend. And you continue paying
for playing.
I support everything that means free knowledge for everybody: mp3, wiki,
open source, etc. It's just that live coding needs a very intellectual
audience, and it's difficult to find one here.
Don't get me wrong, as soon as I was aware of live coding's existence, I
showed it to all my friends and girlfriend included! I was amazed. I think
it's a great idea. Please dont satanize what's meant to be an subjective
analysis of live coding's role in electronic music.
