I'm working on stuff like this using Pure Data currently ... Hopefully
part of it will find its way into a site-specific installation I'm
hoping to do next spring. It would partly "decompose" classical music
(probably by Mozart), and partly do granular and glitchy things with
samples of orchestra and piano actually playing the same pieces.
Hopefully some of the parameters will be controlled by sensors and
webcam motion tracking...

Now there's an idea: a program that takes a midi file and
*degenerates* it (i.e. messes it up) somehow...
