I would argue that *much* worse atrocities have been committed in the name of fascism and capitalism... and that democracy is way more misunderstood, misapplied and used as a cloak than socialism/marxism ever was or is BTW: to our French list members: good luck to Ségolène Royal!
no, not only is there no measure in that kind of evil, i'm unsure fascism has done more bad than communism. stalin had more time and the ussr was larger. i'm pretty left wing, but marxism has been an excuse for evil for a very long, perverse time.
