Or you could slip it into a modified courier bag; the controls would
be up, and the wires could go out small holes in the bottom. And the
courier bag could display some sort of design, or perhaps the logo of
one's corporate sponsor.
And for an added twist, wear a blindfold and manipulate the the
controls by feel/sound rather than looking at the settings (maybe
better for knobby devices vs. menu-driven ones).
