Re: [microsound] children of men/futuristic music

For the past couple of days I've been going through some cartons of CDs that I've had in storage since I moved to Amsterdam three years ago. I was just listening to one that has always been a favorite and certainly qualifies as futuristic music - it's the score of the Sydney Dance Company's 1985 production of "Boxes" by Iva Davies (Chrysalis VK41659/DIDX3158). It's long out of print, but I was wondering if anyone on the list is familiar with it. Very interesting sounds, particularly for something that was done 20 years ago. The few vocals are nothing special - sort of Brian Ferry-ish, but there are some really fine sounds in the instrumental/electronic bits.
