Hi,

Over the last few years, I've been building a free/open source  
modular audio system. As I was building it, I've mostly shared it  
with friends and other programmers, but recently I've made a proper  
set of help files so I'd like to share it more widely.

It is called the TX Modular system and is a standalone program,  
written in SuperCollider which currently only works with OS X  
(although this may change in the future).

It has a basic set of modules that allow you to build interactive  
audio systems such as: live instruments, interactive generative  
compositions, sound design tools, live audio processing tools, group  
improvisation instruments, and loop-mixing tools.
You don't have to be a programmer to use it - it's probably useful if  
you've used software synths before.
