Re: [microsound] Getting started

Hi,

Thanks everyone for all the advice. I am going to spend the next few
days digesting this and figure out just what I need to do. I mean do
my homework!

Thanks!

That's almost like asking: "I'm new to music, what's better to use: a
trumpet or a guitar?"

Nobody can tell you what instrument you will like best, and if someone
does, don't believe a word. You really have to try some tools yourself
to get a feeling for them and be able to decide on your weapon of mass
creation. This is a very personal decision.

You can install demo versions of most commercial apps, and many other
software like Pd, SuperCollider, ChucK, CLAM etc. even comes for free,
so download, install and use everything a little while.

Ciao
