I find myself flying to Toronto at the end of the week and wonder if
anyone here has any pointers, .mcrsnd or otherwise, as to record
stores or musical events or any other essentials. If so, I would be
thankful to read of them (offlist, if straying too far from the
microbreadcrumb trail).

friday: http://www.fukhouse.ca/ free minimal house/techno @ toi bar
on college st. right by my place/studio ;)

also on college, (i think) toronto's best CD store called
soundscapes. they mostly specialize in indie hipster rock/pop but
they have a good electronic section and lots of good music books and
DVDs: http://www.toronto.com/shopping/listing/374802

check these mags for toronto stuff: http://www.eye.net and
www.nowtoronto.com

other than that, i can't think of anything really out of the ordinary
happening this weekend...
