Interesting, but you can already do this with a Nintendo DS, which is
cheaper than an iPhone, but lacks multitouch of course: Either use
http://mccormick.cx/projects/KnobsAndSlidersDS/ or for more
customization one could hack something together using DSLua:
http://dslua.com or use the Wireless Midi for DS whose name and URL I
cannot remember ATM.
