Related to google's data mining practices, there is a firefox extension
which could interest some of the most paranoid among us ;)

I guess if enough people use software such as this one, it could possibly
add a bit of noise to their data. Maybe that's just wishful thinking, given
that the large majority of people wouldn't bother, but at least it wraps
your legitimate google-searches in a bunch of phony (but legitimate-looking)
searches (giving you plausible deniability in case the thought-police comes
for you ^^).
