i've used aquamacs(aqua emacs) but recently have been using the free  
Komodo Edit....., Shiira is a nice alternative web browser..recently  
came across scribbles for drawing/almost non-existent user interface,  
no predefined screen size....use Maintenance, for well  
maintenance....for music use alot of the ixi-software apps....blender  
for 3d work, jahshaka for motion effects....list goes on and  
on...lot's of little apps for specific things....
