anecdote on anechoic:
when I stepped away from running Silent Records in 1996 I decided to  
continue my homage to John Cage by naming my new venture 'anechoic'
but when I went to register the domain I discovered it had already  
been taken
so I settled for my current longer one: Anechoic Media
