Re: [microsound] hard drive crashing/error sounds

On the Linux Audio list, we had a discussion of what would happen if you used dd an piped the contents of your hard isk directly to your sound card.

Instead, I piped the contents of my hard disk to lame, and got this:
http://www.archive.org/download/KenRestivoInternetArchivePart1/mydisk.ogg

The first section and the last are very different.

I ended up using both parts of it in a track too.
