The biggest problem with using Photoshop for synthesis and processing is
the lack of 16-bit image handling.  Though better than 8-bit PCM, 8-bits
are not enough.  Is anyone using an image processing application, for
windows, linux, or macos, that can perform 16-bit image processing?
