you know in Israel its the same thing, if you dont 
have a cell phone youre a walking corpse.

many people even have two or *three* of them
for different pricing options, like talk with one 
only during the night  because that service is
cheaper on that cell phone. and they carry all
of them around.

and people have a tendency to select the most
catchy, corny, cheesy rings and you cant stop
hearing these little crappy-happy  tunes coming
from everywhere, its like - surprise! just now
were gonna hear this tune, very entertaining.

but I guess you all know that charming noise that 
a speaker makes when you put an operating cell 
phone next to it (maybe just GSM?). I once heard 
a sample of that noise on a trance track (disappointing)

thats a nice surprise: I listen on my headphones
when suddenly I hear this fascinating series of
clicks and modem-like noises, and I know someone
is calling me on my cell.
