anyone ever hear their "solar wind" cd on Touch?  i've just borrowed it from
a friend and it's quite interesting...  certainly not glitch, but i think it
qualifies as microsound.  parker's on soprano sax and casserley plays
"signal processing instrument."  it begins with long, drawn out tones on the
sax, but gradually morphs into something purely electronic, where the signal
processing obliterates the original input.  reminds me of subotnick's "ghost
electronics" work.  a lovely merger of acoustic & electronic.
