consider the production of this music as a piece of 
art::  the artist may make up a series of prints, a 
limited production and then sell and market their 
prints on the basis of name and reputation::  much 
the same technique is used for marketing a product 
like 20' to 2000::
the 20' to 2000 series definately had gimick value, 
the case, the concept, the artists:: yet most of the 
content quality seems debatable::
i didn't fork over any money for this series:: the cost 
of mail order from australia often makes musical 
ventures a little out of order, and 20' to 2000 was not 
within my $1 to one minute ratio rule for music 
consumption::
as for limited editions:: we all know how frustrating 
it is to view the ebay auction status of a rare release 
that has exceeded the $300 mark:: ebay is a 
definate breeding ground for bougeois values and 
rapid consumption:: i personally believe that greed 
based auctioning in ethically unsound:: whatever::
