not needles, but needle. needle started out as my name for my performance 
work on turntables, sometimes augmented by musicians. a kind of blend of 
concrete music and [what's become known as]glitch, with hip-hop overtones, 
dubbed "skip-hop", which grew out of a series i was doing for chocolate, but 
never released (modular mood music), which itself was an installation piece 
[for 26 turntables] concieved circa 1979.
as for the beta bodega project...that would be telling.
