for sound tweakery, i would still have to steer anyone serious toward the
mac -
it's a matter of sheer elegance, design, and approach. if you are making
music with a machine, the machine becomes your instrument -  so you need to
be dialed into it, tight. just a matter of taste at this level but there
are a lot of little things that apple has done right along the way, and
they add up.

software wise, i think the mac is still where its at.
