in my opinion, unless a new model is *right* around the corner, never
wait.. because your machine will be surpassed by a new model in at
least 6 months anyway...

as of now, the next powerbooks might now be coming out until early
next year... but, why wait til then.. because a few months after that
something new will come out. you could wait forever. a 500mhz
powerbook will be a nice purchase now.. and last you quite a while...
