I just picked it up on tuesday and its good.

Mostly I'm into hard / experimental techno, but I've begun lurking here
out of the desire for some thought inducing put it on and just listen
sorta music.  

Back around the time of the first Oval albums I listened to
alot of what they just called (in RI) experimental or experimental
industrial if it was hard (merzbow, etc.).

So I'm not exactly an expert :) but I found it to have good
timbre variety, a pleasing sparness and a interesting arragement of
the rythm and randomness.  

So my question for taylor about the album is were you guys collocated or
was this an over the net project.  Some of the album sounds to me
like strange little musical exchanges between computers talking talking to
each over a network. They're many packetized temporally compressed sounds
and little digital noise style clicks that built up this impression for
me.
