i agree..

it was very evident at MUTEK... as much as i love raster music, as friends and as musicians... having sat thru carsten's live set, which was very moving.. straight into frank's.. without intermission.. i just needed some breathing room outside while olaf was playing..

i think with music that really demands a lot of the listener, as a LISTENER, it is better to have a shorter set..

on the flipside though, as a fan of the music and an audience member, i
always wonder why it is the norm for more "difficult" and abstract acts to
perform shorter sets.


i would rather be left wanting more ... than wanting less : )
