It depends I think on whether "glitches" are part of the compositional 
material or not.  It won't cover sine waves obviously, but it has some use 
as a short-hand means for addressing certain of the novel approaches in 
creating music among a certain group of microsound artists.  It was a way of 
foregrounding their particularity, whereas "electronic music" was not 
additive in any way.  The problem is one in which a novel term gets coined 
and becomes reified as a "category."  The problem is tendency to create and 
adhere to categories, an old problem, that will not in any way go away.  We 
need interdiscliplinary work to get rid of categories
