it's a good idea - i think in order to accomplish this, the performer
would need specialised software, that would enable him (or her) to create
all the necessary sounds. 

i think max/msp (running the custom software) on laptops would be the
logical choice, and the use of the aux sends on a mixing console to allow
the performers to "jack in" to the other performer's audio data.

it's definately something that could go both ways though - either utter
chaos, or a beautifully performed group composition.

something that definately needs more research.
