plotkin/pimmon

The Plotkin vs. Pimmon split 12" on Fat Cat is a damned fine record. The A2
track (which I *think* is Plotkin) is a twitching, metallic beast that goes
crawling in search of circuitry on which to feed. Ominous but lithe. The
B1 is an understated drone, rippling beneath the skin. There are brief
moments where you can hear the guitar at the root of the sound, but for the
most part the sounds have been ripped inside out by synthesis. And the last
track is gratingly beautiful, much the way that the third track on Pita's
"Get Out" is.

The whole thing is amazing.

Paul, you're on the list, right? Which side is which, or is the whole thing
a collaborative effort?
