For what it's worth, I felt the Plotkin side was a little tired in its process-over-sound aesthetic;
that he was trying just a little too hard to make you disbelieve this is/was an electric guitar.
Haven't we heard much like this before?

Quick technical question about field recording for textures, etc for a
project I'm working on a proposal for:

What is the best type of mic to use and/or setup?
Do you use one mic or two in the field (stereo recording?)?
How do you minimize interference to get a natural sound in the field?


Please respond privately if this is too much of a technical question for the list?
