Film Sound: Requiem for a Dream

For those lovers of innovative, distinctive and powerful usage of sound in
film, I recommned you check out the film Requiem for a Dream, made by David
Aronofsky, director of "Pi." While not totally my bag ("I like to be moved,
I don't like to be pushed"- John Cage [I think]), I can understand how some
people will go apeshit over it. Visually interesting too, just way, way too
much of an emotional punch in the gut.
