np = now playing.  just means that's what the sender of the email is
listening to at the moment.  try it - it gives you a weird rush of
adrenaline to give people a glimpse into your own private world.

I like to do it with other things too.  For instance, nw = now wearing, ne =
now eating, nho = now high on... etc.
