the reason i create is to cause change in the listener. any sensual stimuli
alters the nervous system, and sound, atleast to me, has a beautiful way of
associating itself with memories and emotions. it is my hope that when i
create a piece that moves from dischordant agro to textural bliss, the
listener might experience some sort of healing proccess. negative thoughts
that are brought out by the abrasive noise may be led by the soundscape
toward some blissful resolution.
anyway, that's my idealized version.
maybe i've just done too many hallucinogens!
