ah, cdrs.  just like a trade-in with the devil.  sure, he says, make
your _cd_s.  you'll be able to play them in _cd players_.  they will be
_cd quality_.  they will not degrade with time (okay, not in ten years,
at least) or carry background hiss till your ears are blue.  & you will
be able to make as many as you want!

....  but good luck on the distribution!!!!

joking apart, i found that cdrs are easier to sell when they feature
handmade packaging (à la lucky kitchen).  otherwise...  well, like any
truly democratic means of production, be prepared to feel like you're
walking in two feet deep of mud...  i.e. glorious but quite dirty.  &
fairly slow.
