Re: [microsound] Re: Nord Micromodular
HEY!
very helpful input, ive used that kind of work scheme on the reaktor very
often, now it is obvious the flexible addition of the micromodular,
thanks to all who have responded!

Subject: [microsound] Re: Nord Micromodular
I use this combination (together with VAZ mod), and it renders interesting
results. To give you an example: I construct self playing `drones´ and other
free material on the Micro Modular, edit and cut, feed the resulting loops
and
longer passages into the sampling section of Reaktor. Twist it into new
forms.
Highly recommended.
Both systems complement eachother well from their basic sound
characteristic.
Plus you can compensate the only backdraw of the Micro Modular - lack of
polyphony - by using the synth section of Reaktor for chords, pads and
things
that generally need more voices. Hope this is helpful.
