Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you're saying the modular can't
output midi CCs from its knobs.  That's actually not true.  Here's a quick
two step how to:

1. assign the physical knob to a virtual knob on one of the modules in your
patch.  (if you only want to use the physical knob as a controller and don't
want it to change anything in the patch, just make a dummy module that does
nothing and assign the knob to a control on that module.)

2. assign the virtual knob to a midi controller (contextual menu:midi
controller:other...)


I just used my micro modular as a controller in a (dissapointing)
performance yesterday.  Something else that's fun to try is to assign the
knob to one of the morph groups.  Then your knob can control an array of
midi CC in different ranges... even reversed, if you want!  what geek fun.
