Podewil and Jugend Hoert e.V. stay compatible. In the second Klangkrieg they
continue with electronic and digital sound explorations as well as projects
on the fringe of electronic - between concert, club and party.

Mo 15.01., 21.00 BASS'N'RHYMES
Anti Pop Consortium (USA), Scorn (GB), slow trappers & mc wuzi khan (D)
The big voice of black poetry meets one of the most massive basses. The
evening will be opened by the slow trappers from Berlin.
Mi 17.01., 21.00 Musik im Klub Special AMERICAN BREAKBEAT
Matmos (USA), Lesser (USA), Safety Scissors (USA), KlangkriegSoundsystem
Three projects from San Francisco: Jay Lessers cut-up-orgies and the highly
complex shock electronics of Matmos, who mix Björks newest album at the
moment - will be presented as well as Safety Scissors, which advanced into
the highest ligue of the US ,Surf'n'Glitch'-scene with their last releases.
Mo 22.01., 21.00 MOTION
Panacea (Caipirinha) (USA), Taylor Deupree (Caipirinha) (USA), Kid 606
(USA), KlangkriegSoundsystem
Panacea - known as a child prodigy of darkstep - proved with his album
,Brasilia' (within the framework of the Architettura-series by the New York
label Caipirinha) that he can well move within many different genres. Taylor
Deupree as well is an example for musicians from the Techno scene, that have
arrived at experimental circles (he also released an album within the
Architettura series). Kid 606 is the most famous musician of the North
American electronic scene, for whose generation the laptop is as taken for
granted as the guitar was before.
Sa 27.01., 21.00 RUSH
BitTonic (GB), Si-{cut}.db (GB), Hallucinator (GB), Epy (A), µ-zig (D)
Behind the cryptic names BitTonic and Si-{cut}.db hide Iris Garrelfs and
Douglas Benford. They are the operating authorities of the Sprawl Club, one
of the first adresses for electronic music in London. Both are as well
musicians. Their cut up sound atoms are put to a rest of dub - just like
Hallucinator, whose basses are unerringly putting the synapses to vibrate..
Epy's furious music exists of cold machine sounds and freely rotating beats.
One of the best live bands between conventional instrumentation and
electronics. The party starts with µ-ziq, who - besides Aphex Twin and
Squarepusher - is one of the most obstinate and sucessful musicians of the
British scene.
