I recommend the 3xCD "OHM" compilation on Ellipsis Arts or "Early
Modulations" on Caipirinha. They are nice general introductions to
electronic sound history and are readily available, unlike a lot of
personal recommendations for "best ever old stuff". Get a smear of history
and pick your own launching points. :)
