It would be interesting to see what other list-members
consider to be electronic/electroacoustic "clichés".
I'm just curious; I'm rather new to the music as of
this point, but I'm sure electroacoustic music,
microsonic or otherwise, is as susceptible to
imitative autopilot as is any form. Is the problem
really relative to the use of similar
equipment/software? It would seem to me, with the
vast palette of, say, Csound or MAX, we'd be looking
at a _use_ problem: similar techniques and methods
rather than similar equipment being the crux of the
issue.

I'm really interested in getting into the empreintes
DIGITALes catalog, but it would help to have some
opinions on the essential releases.

Thanks!
