I too was initially impressed by Tremblay's work but
the collection of pieces is uneven. "L'Intrus au
chapeau de spleen" remains the powerful moment of the
album.
My Empreintes Digitales recommendation would be
Paul Dolden's "L'Ivresse de la vitesse" (Powerful and
dense layers of sound with effective counter-points by
acoustic instruments -- guitar, harpsicord, clarinet)
