A message for all microsound subscribers in or near the Bay Area...

The Archipelago, a collective which includes several members of this 
list, is having a CD release party this coming Friday (2/2) in 
Berkeley at Tuva (details below for those interested). We will be 
playing all of the six 3" CDs in the "Islands" series, including 
releases by microsound-list members Thermal (Joshua Maremont), and 
eM/Rhomb (Michael Bentley). All are invited (and encouraged) to 
attend, it would be nice to meet face to face... and it's FREE!

DETAILS -> ARCHIPELAGO RELEASE PARTY! The Archipelago is holding a 
release party on Friday the 2nd of February at Tuva in Berkeley from 
8PM to 11PM. We will be playing the 3" CDs, presenting some video and 
slide shows, and featuring short live sets from Seofon and Csero. All 
the artists will be there, including Nathan Kreisberg (Rhomb), 
Michael Bentley (Rhomb, eM), Ian Stokes (Csero), Joshua Maremont 
(Thermal), Seofon, and Dean Santomieri. Refreshments will be 
available! Tuva is located at 3192 Adeline Street (at Martin Luther 
King Way) in Berkeley, easily accessible by BART (Exit west from 
Ashby BART, Tuva is across MLK on the west side of the intersection 
of Adeline and MLK). There is no sign on the building, save the word
