I would say that just about any thing that dianne labrosse touches is
generally interesting: I would check out the les poules record she did as
a
side project to her wounderbrass project at the time that is very similar
to
voicecrack but all made up of women. Canada has a long interesting history
of women being involved in experimental music's. There is a long history
of women working in the generas of music actuelle and electroacoustics as
being reconized for what they have done. but interms of the purely
experimental or fringe stuff: the list is shorter: i8u, les poules,
morning sickness, julia lockteve, sandra dawson, barbra sternberg and Im
sure there are others that Im not remembering at this moment.
